The Knut is a nut that screws onto the tilt
tube of your out board motor where the steering cable comes through.
Duel sealed with first a wiper seal then a o-ring to keep out 100% of all
moisture and dirt. The wiper seal is a Knut exclusive. Don't be
fooled by cheap knock offs that only have one seal the o-ring. Without
a wiper seal the o-ring will quickly become contaminated and fail.
The Knut also features a stainless zerk fitting that allows lubing the inside of the tilt tube furthering the life of your steering cable.
