Live Bait Containment System
Having live bait anytime, anywhere will change your
whole approach to big game fishing. Tuna Tubes will keep many types of fish
alive that will not live in ordinary bait tanks. Tuna Tubes have been tested
in Australia, Panama, Costa Rica, Cabo San Lucas and Kona Hawaii and are
proven to keep skipjack tuna, yellowfin tuna, kawakawa, bonito, spanish
mackerel and frigate mackerel alive indefinitely. Similar success may be
expected with species common to other areas. Think of the advantages Tuna
Tubes offer the serious angler.
How many times have you had a fish in you pattern that wouldn’t eat a lure
or dead bait and you were miles from a bait school? If you have Tuna Tubes,
just pull out a bridled live bait, drop him back and hold on.
If you fish tournaments, Tuna Tubes can pay for themselves with just one
fish!
Transom Mount, easy on - easy off at the end of the day
Easy to install-pumps via through hull fittings or live wells
Removable inner liner allows the use of bait ranging from 1lb to 15 lbs
Compete bait pump/fittings available

inlet you need a high flow high pressure pump like a 110 volt spa
pump, call for more info.

"TUNAfORM"
from Tuna-flo
Tuna, Spanish Mac's & Bonita Tubes
Shaped To Fit The Bait
less water flow required, plus a
tighter fit for less bait movement and abrasion in the tube
(All 6 tubes have flow valves)
Finally a bait tube shaped like the bait we use. The New
"Tunaform"
tuna tubes are shaped to fit tuna,
bonita
spanish mackerel small blue fish and many of our most popular baits. The model TF-6M will fit bait up to
approximately 7 pounds. By shaping the the tube to fit the bait a tighter
fit occurs allowing more water to pass through the baits gills instead of
around its body. The molded 1 pc tube tray features 6 tubes that are
fed individually from (2) intake manifolds, one on each side of the tank.
The water in each tube is completely adjustable using 6 ball valves.
The water enters the manifold intake from
the pump (1" or 3/4" barbed fitting) then is split into (2) 3 way
manifolds, one on each side of the tank. Inside the tank flex hose
connects the 3 way to each tube.
Water enters the tube from the oval coned
bottom and overflows into the tank at the top of the tube through drain
holes Two 1/2" drain fittings drain the tank . Any water that is splashed
to the top, drains back from the splash tray into the tank. A end of day
drain cap is also installed to drain the tank completely at the end of the
day.
Recommended pumps include, click on link to see pump
1, Rule
model 17A 3700 GPH pump into a 1 1/2" in and (2) 1" out manifold.
2, (2) Rule Model 207F bait pumps, run of two thru-hulls
3, (2) Shur-flo Aqua-Tiger pumps, run of 2 thru

drain fittings, 3/4" and 1" inlets are included with each unit. An
optional cutting board cover is available that lays in the splash tray.
